Hello, i have an old Seamaster Chronometer with original timing certiicate from Omega dated in 1952. However the serial number for the movement on the certificate is 12244484 and the watch serial number is 12331290. Should these two numbers match? Does the area where the serial numbers are stamped commonly wear out and possibly replaced, thus making the serial numbers not match. I have other pieces of paperwork i received with the watch that could almost only apply to this watch. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
