Very often I see positive references to NATO straps and I agree they are nice good looking straps. This is why I bought four of them, a black, a gray, an olive green and a khaki.
My first impression was very good but unfortunately it didn't last long. In a few months all four straps had signs of corrosion on the metal parts. They surely got wet several times but I never exposed them to salty water or any extreme condition. I got very disappointed since those straps are supposed to be water resistant.
The nylon strap is ok but the metal rings and buckle are definetly of very poor quality.
