FYI - My titanium Seamaster does NOT trip the metal detectors, and I have gone through airport security numerous times with it on my wrist. Don't know about SS watches, but I would leave it on my wrist no matter what. Let the security people earn their money and "wand" you to verify that it's the watch. Almost EVERY time I go to the airport I hear at least one page for someone to go back to security checkpoint 5 to get their cellphone or wallet, and it would really suck if you were rushing to catch a flight and left your Omega behind!
