Thank you for your reply. I've always been aware of the dangers of magnetism and always protected my watches from strong magnetic fields. I will be rather upset if this is diagnosed to be the cause of the inaccuracy. To demagnetize the watch will it require dismantling as imagine the costs if excluded from warrany would be horrendous?
I would be interested how they prove a watch has been magnetized or it it a matter of elimination until a diagnosis is derived?
