Hey Andy, must be something perculiar to Ottawa! My SMP has also gone out of whack recently. It does deflect a compass a small amount and actually I suspect I brushed against a large DC motor at one of the "doors-open Ottawa" events.
For Andy's watch, if it turns out to be magnetised would that be covered under warranty?
After a bad experience with Swatch repair facility I always vowed that next time it would go to Bienne. Is it worth the trip just to be demagnetised?
