Re: What the heck are you talking about?

: Omega is owned by The Swatch Group. They are
: fully Swiss. The Speedmaster Professional
: movement is made by Lemania, also owned by
: The Swatch Group.

: Overpriced? I think Omega rrepresents quite a
: bargain in the luxury watch field.
HATE TO TELL YA THIS KIETH, but they were just bought by a large japenese company i know people that are in swizerland for watchbuying ,and they just let me know this info, and for overpriced what i meant was,now that the company can make them cheaper {and everyone knows in the past ten years most lower end watch companies other than rolex patek philip and those high priced ones } by law they only have to use 47%swiss parts to call a watch 100% swiss this was put into law aprox 10 years ago so i dont mean to be rude i have been studying watches for a long time and i know many large company guys this is the truth most collecters dont know or want to believe .i just meant if a watch company is making them at a lesser cost now because most are started with swiss parts like the movement wheel but the rest is made from china or japan and they still charge as if they were 100% swiss and they are not but still omega is a fabulous watch,so thats that thanks anyway.thanks to all for advice.
