It looks like a fake. Omega never introduced a mid-size GMT in that case. Joey is right about date background and raised marker. Until recently I had the real full size black dial Omega GMT.
I can see the differences.
This black dial GMT was introduced in 1998 and came only in full size. On the case back it says "50 Years". Because 1998 was the 50th anniversary of Seamaster and this inscription is found only on black dial GMT. You an contact Omega through their website, if they accept picture send one.
