: Before I got my Omega I had a titanium Citizen,
: which had a digital display within the dial
: for multi-functions. I live in the UK and it
: cost just over £100.00 4 years ago. It's
: still going strong. I can safely say this
: was the best watch I had ever had until I
: got my SMP.
: Citizen do some divers watches within your
: budget. They don't look as good as SMP's,
: but I'm sure they would serve you well.
: Cheers, Darren
Seiko automatic divers can be had for under $200. They aren't as accurate as an Omega or as nicely finished. Mine was about plus 25 seconds per day out of the box and has settled down to plus 15 seconds per day. It probably could be regulated to being a bit better. But!!! Most of the people who have them love them. They last forever. You can always demote yours to being a beater later.
