For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
Your heart is in the right place. Make sure it stays there. For 10 years between the Omega I got for college graduation and now (31 years later) I wore a Pulsar with dark anodized aluminum that SORT of looked like titanium, and accepted the fact that I couldn't afford the real thing while I had two small kids to support. Now I have a real 2293.52 on my wrist, and I am a happy camper. I don't think I would have EVER liked to be the kind of person who wears a fake watch to impress other people.
In addition to the discrepancies that John notes with this watch, you should always remember that when you buy something through the internet, what you get may or may NOT correspond with the pictures posted.
Best regards,
Sam
