Are you sure that we are talking about the same company, Sinn? They have some highly interesting patents for their own watches?
Diapal (friction-less, oil free escapement)
HYDRO waterproofing (Oil filled watches for extreme dephts)
Tegiment coated cases (scrath protection)
Agron gas sealed cases (oxidation, dust and water protection), just to name a few.
They're quite innovative! In any case, I'm not trying to sell you their watches or trying to convince you in any way. I don't own a part of the company. :-)
