Joey,
Send me an e-mail. I can give you a referral to a dealer who will give you a good discount on a Tissot diver's watch that will put it within yor $300 limit. Tissot is owned by the Swatch Group, Omega's parent company. They make excellent quality diver's watches (quartz) that are all stainless steel, have sapphire crystals, and a choice of dial colors. They are similar in size to a full size Bond SMP. I have a gold plated one that I really like, and it only retailed for around $500 at the time (last year). Tissot is well known for being a company that makes excellent watches for the money (much better than any Seiko I have ever owned - no offense to those who have had good experiences with them!!!).
If you are interested, send me an e-mail and I'll give you the dealer's contact information.
