Re: Aqua Terra
In Response To: Re: Aqua Terra ()

: Actually, the Aqua Terra is part of the
: Seamaster line. It's certainly dressier than
: a Bond SMP, so people who are looking for a
: sportier watch tend to go with the Bond SMP,
: black dial SMP, or the GMT or chronograph
: models.

: The Aqua Terra is also significantly more
: expensive ($800 more) because it contains
: Omega's co-axial movement. However, at $2795
: MSRP it is the cheapest co-axial model Omega
: makes (except for the Railmaster on a
: leather strap), so it's actually a bargain
: if you are looking for a nice dress watch
: with Omega's best movement.

Thanks again John,
A lot of people seem to know and own sportier watches. Many are able to recommend watches with similar styles with the Omega SMP (Seiko, Sinn, and Tissot divers). But do you know of a similar watch in style of the Aqua Terra? The "Picture of the Day" really caught my attention (the soft white creamy face, blue "eyes", a shiny, curved body.......:-))
