ebay: omega chronometer

could anyone here please help me selecting a genuine vintage omega for a reasonable price. I am looking for a seamaster or constellation automatic chronometer preferably with metal strap. I've come across a seamaster cosmic2000 but was told that might be a bad buy. Now I am browsing ebay and have seen two constellations that might be attractive, but I am unsure if they are authentic and if they might be good buys (good condition/model/calibre). could anyone please let me know what to look for in genuine omega's or tell me if they know respectable ebayers. Maybe it doesn't mean anything but Brasil, China and the filipines don't sound like countries where I'd expect to find authentic omega watches.
