: What's more, I don't believe that it says Swiss
: Made on Breitlings. I was told by a jeweler
: that Breitlings were made in Germany,
: "near to Switzerland". Others have
: insisted to me that Breitlings are made in
: Switzerland.
: Does anyone have one and can check for the
: "Swiss Made" designation?
According to Breitling's website, all Breitlings are manufactured in Grenchen, Switzerland. In fact, they opened a newer, more modern manufacturing facility there in 2000. They are not marked "Swiss Made" on the dial, but I haven't been able to find out exactly why this is the case since they are all made in Switzerland.
