: According to Breitling's website, all
: Breitlings are manufactured in Grenchen,
: Switzerland. In fact, they opened a newer,
: more modern manufacturing facility there in
: 2000. They are not marked "Swiss
: Made" on the dial, but I haven't been
: able to find out exactly why this is the
: case since they are all made in Switzerland.
This is puzzling because "Swiss Made" is a valuable designation. If they are entitled to use it, why don't they? I'd be concerned about whether they have an office in Switzerland but do more than 50% outsourcing. This is not an assertion. I'm just having trouble understanding what they are doing. Also, of course, things made in Germany can certainly be excellent.
