Re: about breitling movements
In Response To: Re: about breitling movements ()

: O.K. That's a caliber 10! The Wings model is
: one of Breitling's least expensive autos. I
: haven't seen it, though I wouldn't be
: surprised if the movement finish is less
: than what it is in other models. The finish
: on the calibre 13 in the Chronomat Evolution
: models is every bit as nice as Omega.

: I don't think there any any current model
: Omega's using a Lemania 5100 (which was
: really HUGE). I agree that this particular
: movement is probably one of the most rugged
: CHRONOGRAPH movements (you can't really be
: comparing this to non-chrono movements) --,
: albeit HUGE. Also, when did Omega use the
: Lemania 1350 or do you mean Omega caliber
: 1350 -- I'm not familiar with it.
The 5100 was used in the past by Omega from 1974 to 1985 in the speedmaster.
Omega used the lemania 1340 and modified into the Omega 1040 from 1971 to 1974. The lemania 1350 is the successor of the lemania 1340 used by Breguet and Ebel only.
About the b13 it will never be the same than the Omega cal 1154.
