Just returned from Las Vegas where I bought an America's Cup Seamaster.
I found it at "Roman Times" a watch store at the Forum Shops at Ceasar's Palace.
Saleslady sold it at a discounted price of $2170! At first she wanted to ship it to me here in Michigan but I told her that no one would be here to sign for it. She juggled the numbers and came up with the above price. I was thrilled that I got to take it with me. I got number 0549/9999
I went back the next day to get the bracelet re-sized and there was another one on display! I thought they were supposed to be rare??
They also had an 18K gold Seamaster Skeleton on display. Of course I had to try it on, but I got real nervous when I noticed the price tag read $44,000, so I put it down real quick. My wife was also quite relieved that I put it down. Felt real good on my wrist but all that "decoration" on the movement is not my cup of tea.
Sorry if I bored anyone with my rambling on. But the America's Cup is one great watch and anyone that's even mildly interested in getting one should do so. You won't be disappointed!!
