Re: about breitling movements
In Response To: Re: about breitling movements ()

Hi Georges,

: The winding system is improved in order to turn
: more smoothly,

"Turn more smoothly"??? I had no problem winding a Breitling. There may be something to it but it seems (at least at present) superfluous to me.

: the main spring and balance
: wheel are severely modified in order to
: procure greater accuracy over the long run.

Unfotunately, that has not been my personal experience, with having owned both -- but this is not scientific. Is there any source that can confirm the "greater accuracy over the long run"?

: Omega saga is only written in French for your
: information.

I knew that. Perhaps an English version will be produced one day and distributed (free -- yeah) by Omega. Maybe they should also reissue the Time Capsule too!

Cheers!
