I read with great interest Georges opinions on Breitling vs. Omega movements. When you say that Breitling is the worst value for the money, does this apply to their automatic movements or were you talking about quartz movements only?
I have always been of the opinion that Rolex was the worst value for the money since their retail prices are sky high and they don't discount. Since you are clearly an expert on the details of watch movements, I'd love to hear your opinions on whose are the best and who gives you the best value for the money (strictly talking about AUTOMATIC movements). Right now I am debating between an Omega Bond GMT co-axial and a Breitling Navitimer for my next watch, and would love to know if the Breitling is grossly overpriced at $4250 on a leather strap.
