Hey there John, very interesting post. Sounds like you are going through a very similar thought proccess that I did before I purchased my Bond GMT (BTW, thanks again for the referral). That is when I went to a local AD and tried on the blk/blk 42mm and the Bond GMT. I felt the PO was a little plain in design, although still quite handsome. The GMT just jumped out at me and the decision was made. However, I believe you already own a Bond 300 SMP whereas I did not.
I sold my model 2255.80 to help finance the Bond GMT. You may or may not be willing to do this, especially if you go with the PO. Anyway, my Bond GMT with the cal. 2628A has been +5 seconds in three weeks! Tough decision but I'm sure you will make out just fine!
