: Let me preface by saying I'm an idiot.
That is the funniest opening to any post I have read on this forum. However, you are not an idiot and many of your opinions were very insightful. I agree that Omega wins the "best value for the money" war and I also agree that Breitling makes some of the "best looking" watches on the market.
Where I would disagree is on the subject of Rolex aesthetics. I don't know enough about the technical aspects of their movements, but there are a lot of things about the "look" of a Rolex that just don't appeal to me. I suppose that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
