: I'm glad that you're agreeing with me John:-),
: get an Omega and I'm sure you won't regret
: it, don't be fooled by Rolex marketing
: nonesense.

I already own three Omegas so I know that they are extremely high quality watches and the best "bang for the buck". Whenever I talk to a jeweler in a high end watch store, the ONLY thing he'll say about why I should buy a Rolex is because the movement is better. Even if I assume he's correct, I have to ask myself, "Is that movement worth two Planet Oceans or three Bond Seamasters (with change left over)?". That was really my only reason for mentioning Rolex - to see if someone could explain to me in technical terms why it is so superior to other movements that it warrants such an exhorbitant price tag.

My next watch will certainly be a Planet Ocean or the Bond GMT, as I am sold on the quality and value of the co-axial movement. My DeVille co-axial keeps better time than an old Casio quartz watch I have. With the DeVille, I don't measure seconds gained per day, I measure days per second gained!!!
