Hello. I’m getting ready to purchase my first Omega and am looking for some insight and opinions from the “experts”. The two models under consideration are the Seamaster 300M Bond and the Seamaster GTM Bond.
It appears that the differences between these two models are in the movements, the sapphire back and the hour numbers on the dial. I like both dials and the back doesn’t really matter to me so the big question is:
Is the Co-Axial movement in the GMT worth the additional money?
Lastly I’m definitely going to buy from an AD. In reading through this forum I glad to see that there are ones that offer some pretty decent discounts. Are there any in NJ, preferably northern NJ? Also what kind of discounts can one expect?
Thank you in advance for your answers. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
