: I did own a Submariner for about 16 years, and
: only serviced it once. I presently have a

: which I have never serviced. I understand
: that after about 6 years, you will have to
: service Omega because it slows down. I
: presently have a 6 year old smp chrono which

: Rolex will go forever withought
: servicing..not sure about Omega.

Once again we're running into assumptions here. DO NOT assume something MUST BE true unless you have comprehensive data to back it up. Just because your rolexes ran fine for 16 years it does not mean that ALL Rolexes will. I happen to own a Seamaster that hasn't seen service in about 18 years and it still runs fine.
