Re: Seamaster Noise
In Response To: Seamaster Noise ()

: Hey Guys,

: I'm just curious, but how loud does an Omega
: SMP get? Can you hear the mechanism of the
: movement if you place it right next to your
: ear? Also for those lucky fellas out there
: who own both SMP and a coaxial watch, is one
: louder than the other? Oh, and how would you
: remove the bezel of a diver's watch?

I can't tell you how to remove the bezel of a diver's watch since I leave that to my local watchmaker. However, I can tell you that both my Seamasters and my DeVille co-axial can easily be heard ticking away if you place them close to your ear. If I place them more than a few inches from my ear I can't hear then at all, so they are not loud by any means. Also, I just listened to both of them and I don't perceive one as being any louder than the other. I hope this helps.
