Planet Ocean Scratched

I purchase a 42mm Omega Planet Ocean about 6 weeks ago and I must say that I LOVE it...it is a gorgeous watch. However, this is my first Omega purchase and I am a little disappointed. So far I have about 30 little scratches on the crystal. :( I have had a Rolex Submariner for 6 years and a Tag Heuer for about 18 months and neither have a single scratch on the crystal. I must admit that my Rolex does have a nick or two around the edges of the crystal, but NO scratches.

Has anyone else seen or heard of this problem?? Could there perhaps have been a defect in a batch of the crystals that were used on the new planet ocean models?? After all my Omega is only 6 weeks old...what is it going to look like in a year or two??
