The 2254.50.00 is an excellent watch. I also looked at the Rolex Submariner, but comparing them side-to-side, I picked the SMP without hesitation. This is a classic, sporty dive watch that one can wear for all occasions. The movement is proven, and the overall quality is top notch. The price also makes this a real bargain.
