I have also comparedagainst the Rolex submariner, but i feel it is way too expensive, just seems to be paying for the brand name. what I like about the omega is the size and options available for rubber straps etc. It also seems to be really reliable by all reports. I had considered the 2381, but I think the black dial is far more classic than the blue.
Does anyone know what the luminous stuff is made of?. I have seen some old seamasters where this has faded on the dial
