I don't know what is the quality of argon coating used by Omega but I know that the quality of argon used by sinn is top notch. On the other hand, I prfer plexi glass, it is easier to remove scratches and it doesn't cause problems like sapphire if it is broken. My 1951 seamaster glass was only polished once in 54 years for removing scratches. That says a lot of the quality of Omega glasses.
