Re: Grand Seiko vs. AT
In Response To: Grand Seiko vs. AT *PIC* ()

I'm not a strictly "Swiss made" watch fan, and I do believe that if the Japanese want to, they could easily build competitive watches, however, I would still go for the AT when compared to the GS. I like the look of the hands and indexes more, and if the price of the Seiko is really that much higher, I would go for the AT anytime.

Common man

: I thought that Seiko always made cheaper
: watches than Omega, but the Grand Seiko
: costs about $4000! Even though both the Aqua
: Terra and Seiko look very similar, I can't
: seem to justify the high price!

: The AT still looks better, has the coaxial
: movement, and is made by a prestigest SWISS
: company, Omega.

: The Grand Seiko on the other hand is made by a
: popular japanese company that has a
: reputation for timepieces under $500!

: Any thoughts on why an Omega beat a Seiko on
: price???

: [The pic came from a person on the PMWF (yeah,
: that stands for POOR Man's Watch Forum! I
: can't imagine what RICH means!!!)]
