: I have often heard that Rolex would revoke the
: authorized dealership status if the dealer
: were to offer a big discount. Is it true or
: is it just some rumor?
Mostly rumor. However, if the dealer has a Costco or bargain store image, then Rolex will revoke dealership status. On the other hand, if a high-end dealer slips a good discount to a customer, the dealership status would not be revoked -- that's ludicrous.
: Also does anyone have
: any idea as to how much discount should I
: expect for a GMT II, Submariner and Sea
: Dweller? Thanks.
Don't expect too much discount on Rolex SS sport watches. These things are not that plentiful and they don't sit in the store for very long. A 5% discount is good -- maybe (and just maybe) 10% for a return customer.
