Speedmaster Date vs. Breitling Chronomat

Hello all-

I've been looking into getting my first "nice" watch. I really like the look of the Speedmaster series, and I want to decide between the Speedmaster Date and the Breitling Chronomat Evo. I mean, is it really worth the extra $2000 for the COSC. The same could be said for getting a Speedmaster Broad Arrow. Any help would be great. Thanks.
