Thanks to all for your messages. My immediate family is fine. My sister's house was heavily damaged, but they rode the storm out at our house which is well west of the destruction. We do have other relatives in the New Orleans/Miss Gulf coast that we can't get in touch with but assume they took refuge out of the area. There is virtually zero communication in the area. The conditions there are worse than third world.
