: Take a look at the link below. I e-mailed the
: seller yesterday to tell him all of the
: things that were misleading about his item
: description, but it looks like he didn't
: bother to fix them.
: Note the following: 1) He says it's the model
: 2254.50 but it has the Bond bracelet and the
: warranty card clearly says 2054.50 when you
: supersize the picture.
: 2) He says he bought it from an authorized
: dealer but there is no date or stamp at all
: on the warranty card. Looks gray market to
: me. Any guesses on whether the serial number
: has been removed?
: 3) We all know those little white pamphlets are
: not Omega's operating instructions. Had he
: bought this from an AD he would have
: received the thick red hardbound book.
: I just can't believe a seller would be so
: dishonest when his own pictures don't even
: match his item description. I may just
: contact each bidder to warn them about this
: unless he changes his ad.
Ebay is not all bad, i've gotten plenty of things on it and only got scammed once by a notorious scam artist who's no longer a seller. You just have to be cautious, that's all.
