I will tell you in all honesty that the forum is not the place for flame wars. When the war Rolex vs Omega turns into huge flaming it doesn't make the discussion interesting. I know my watches due to several book on watches I own but also due to the fact that I visit other forums besides chronocentric and that I speak sometimes with my watchmaker. I am more intersting myself into the movements of watches than something else.
Back to the topic, Omega and Rolex have made some very significant watches and made some of the best calibers that are references now in the horological field.
To bash one brand because you like more another one is not the solution.
