The Haut qualities of a watch are rather meaningless in this day and age when a 12$ quartz watch from the drug store can keep time just as well or better than any mecanical movement. Haut qualites are especially meaningless when we are talking watches that just have the time and date. If we were talking grand comps or repeaters there might be something to it.
I like my Omegas. I think Rolex makes nice watches too. Although because they are so well known they stand out as a bit to much Tony Soprano style bling.
Ether way these days watches are just jewelery. Pretty little things to look at and spend maybe even waist your money on. Mens jewelery tells time, Women's sparkles same difference.
