Thanks for bring that up Georges, as I was wondering why everyone was arguing the ancestry of only the ETA movements when Speedmasters DNA is all over the place. Why are we so sensitive over how much Omega 'modifies' an ETA movement but proudly point to the Lemania (and generally ignore the Valjoux) without talking about the extent of their modifications? Perhaps Omega would not have survived as a totally independant brand and these moves by Swatch were/are necessary.
