No harm intended. My comments were really tongue in cheek.
My internet research for a new watch brought me to, among other things, this forum. I'm not a dealer and intend to buy/sell/trade for my own use only. However, your observations are well taken and personally confirmed by my having been burned once already.
It is a dangerous world out there and your advise is well taken. We should nonetheless avoid total cynicism, if possible, lest we lose our "joie de vie".
