I have owned the Bond model 2531.80 for nearly 3 years and it has functioned flawlessly. It has not been serviced yet, since 5-7 years is the typical timeframe for servicing an automatic watch (10 years for a co-axial model). This will cost about $150-$200 from an Omega factory service center. It includes replacing all of the lubricants and gaskets, pressure testing the watch, disassembling the bracelet and polishing it along with the rest of the watch, etc. A quartz model is cheaper to maintain since simple battery changes will suffice, though a full service is recommended at every other battery change. I don't know how much this will cost since I own no quartz Omegas.
