Re: Sharkskin/Rubber Straps
In Response To: Sharkskin/Rubber Straps ()

: A few questions in regards to the straps: Which
: strap is better?

That is purely personal preference. Both are great.

: How difficult is it to
: order such a strap from Omega USA?

With the right part numbers shown in the FAQ, it usually is no problem. Just make sure they do not substitute a different part or try to tell you that the part number you asked for has been replaced by another. Also, sometimes you can confuse them by telling them which watch you have if the part you are ordering comes on a different model.

: Should I order it through a dealer or simply
: order it myself?

Avoid the middleman on these smaller accessory purchases and order straight from Omega.

: Finally, how difficult is the process of
: removing/replacing the bracelet?

Easy with the right tools. But also very inexpensive to pay a qualified jeweler to do it for you. Should cost a mere $3-7, or they may even do it for free.

: Thanks in advance for any suggestions and this
: site rocks!

Thanks!
