: Quick additional question regarding buying on
: Ebay. I recently bought an Omega from eBay,
: and upon receipt of the item, I see the box,
: with all papers and certificates, etc.
: included and a watch in new condition with
: serial number. However, the certificates
: just have numbers and no mention of which
: dealer originally sold the watch.
: Is this watch eligible under Omega warranty if
: I wish to have the links adjusted? Or do I
: have to pay out of pocket expense for it?
No, without an authorized dealer stamped and dated warranty card you are NOT covered by the Omega factory warranty. Bracelet sizing has nothing to do with the warranty. Only the dealer from whom the watch was originally purchased has an obligation to size the bracelet free of charge. Any other Omega dealer can charge you a fee for this service, which is usually only $5 or so.
