And you want swiss quality, check out Tissot. Do a google search and you can see what they look like. I have always liked the look of these watches but I have no ownership experiences. I am about to buy my wife a ladies PR50 automatic as her first auto watch.

Check out their T-Classic and T-Sport models for auto and quartz chronos and divers that fall in your price range. I'm sure there are some other brands that you could find too, depending on what you are looking for. Good Luck.
