Re: Omega SMP

: it was bought at Sam's Club...unfortunately. So
: Omega will work on it for a price, but will
: not honor a warranty?
: How does a place like Sam's Club sell watches
: like Omegas? They must order them from Omega
: right?

Absolutely not. Sam's is not an authorized Omega retailer, so Omega will not sell them watches. They are just another gray market dealer, offering their own "warranty" which allows them to let anyone they choose work on your watch should it ever need repair. Omega will not honor your warranty AT ALL. If you ever choose to have your watch serviced by Omega you will pay 100% of the cost.

Sadly, Sam's price is significantly higher than what you would have paid from my authorized retailer ($1337). As Seismic Sam said, if you can get your money back then RUN, don't walk, back to Sam's. I believe I already sent you my authorized dealer referral, but if I didn't just send me an e-mail. $1500 for a gray market watch is absurd. I'm sorry to say you have been ripped off if you can't get your money back.
