Hey all, thanks for your replies,

Well I've looked at Tissot pretty closely. I get the general feeling that every model I look at gets me REALLY close to what I want, but then there's a shortfall (imo) that makes something worse

I take it it's very difficult to get an Auto Chrono in this price range?

I'm not even that stuck on a Chrono, a nice looking Auto is fine by me. A lot of their stuff is kind of silly looking (soccer ball and gear cog shape timer dials, etc...). Some are models I like but only in come gold (which I don't think works for me) or leather or strange colored straps.

Also for example, I like the Diver but it looks a bit stolen from the Seamaster, especially looking at the 'Seastar' printed upon the face. And the Auto movement comes only in the Black/Red layout with a rubber strap (wtf!) (not sure how an Auto movement would be better in a Scuba situation where you're more likely to hit it on something or abuse it).

The PRC200 T17.1.586.42 is my first choice currently (even with Quartz) but it is sold close to nowhere and at close to retail in the VERY few places I've seen (although they don't even appear to be Authorized Retailers). The PRS 200 is a little too complicated and gold for my taste I think.

Does anyone have any ideas on a classic looking (like PRC 200) preferrably blue faced Auto movement Tissot?
