Re: Serial number look-up
In Response To: Serial number look-up ()

: Just saw on one of the pages here a reference
: to Omega sight and supposed link to look up
: serial numbers. Nothing on Omega relates to
: this.

: Does anyone know where I can enter a so-called
: serial number and confirm watch authenticity
: (and anything else it may related to, for
: that matter)?

: Also: Should the salesman have given this to
: me? I mean, are serial numbers like social
: security numbers? I'd hate for someone else
: to have been given it as well, then to do
: whatever they might do to later claim my
: watch was theirs.

: Thanks!

All Omega watches purchased through authorized retailers should have the serial number clearly printed on the warranty card and the chronometer certificate card. If you don't have these cards then your watch is "gray market" (unless you bought used and the previous owner lost them).

As for contacting Omega, you cannot look this up directly on their website. You'll need to contact their customer service department at aftersales@omega.ch with your request.
