Re: Ebay seller
In Response To: Re: Ebay seller ()

From what I have seen, your odds are better than 50% that the Omega you buy on E-Bay WILL be fake or defective. I paid somebody $3600 for an Omega 2296.80, it broke three weeks later, and for months after that I could not get any response at all about where my watch was or whether it was getting fixed. It was literally the WORST purchasing experience of of my entire adult life. If you buy a watch on E-Bay or from a gray market dealer, it IS very much like a life or death situation. Either the watch will work and you will be happy, or it won't, and you will be totally out of luck and your money will be gone. There is NO SUCH THING as "just a little bad service" from dealers like these. Buying a watch on E-Bay IS an all-or-nothing gamble, just like Russian Roulette.
