: Hi Andy,

: I really love my Citizen Calibre 2100, it is a
: hefty watch, has all the features I need and
: gets a lot of attention from watch buffs. I
: own several Omega Autos and I love them, but
: I have owned many many citizens and loved
: them all. I paid about $300 for my white
: face 2100. It is sitting on my desk right
: now. You could do much worse...

I have heard many good things about the Eco-Drive models. In fact, it's the only Citizen model I haven't heard complaints about. This may be the one that they really put a lot of time and effort into perfecting.

My reasons for choosing Tissot are that Tissot is Swiss Made and has a sapphire crystal, which is much more practical for an everyday watch. It is also an expensive feature on most watches that Tissot sells to you at a relative bargain.

Either way, I don't think it's "wrong" to choose either watch. Everyone I've spoken to about their Eco-Drives love them, and the price is certainly reasonable.
