Re: real or fake Speedy BA???
In Response To: Re: real or fake Speedy BA??? ()

: He's asking less than 1/3 of MSRP for what he
: claims is a "New" watch. He
: doesn't give specifics and his price is way
: too low. I wouldn't trust it AT ALL unless
: you e-mail the seller and ask him 1) if the
: watch comes with all documentation (boxes,
: papers, etc.) 2) Why is he selling it so
: cheap? 3) Is it really new? 4) Was it
: purchased from an authorized dealer? 5) How
: old is it?

: Lots of questions that a good seller would
: answer in their listing. He also gives only
: a blurry picture that looks like a stock
: photo. All this makes me very suspicious.

I'm sure that everyone here can back that up.... Either that the seller is a total idiot or he's a con.... Your call.

A word to the wise... No matter how much you do your research, you absolutely CANNOT buy an Omega Speedmaster at the price that dealer's asking. The phase "if it's too good to be true...." applies here in the world of watches.

Be careful out there....
