Hi
Excellent threads always get a bump. Eta is not a prestige movement manufacturer like Frederic Piguet, Lemania, Jeager Le Coultre who supplies Patek, Vacheron and Ap as well Renaud & Ppai who are now part of AP.
Compare older Omega inhouse movements with their rivals, they were surpassing them in any aspects.
The eta modified by Omega is well modified but I personnaly prefer older Omega calibres. Many older Omega calibres have set standards that new ones hadn't. Examples the 30t2 best handwound movement ever built, 321 best column wheel chrono ever produced, omega 1040 and 1045 best automatic cam operated selfwinding chrono calibres ever made and many other references. The 1120 is a very good
reference when it comes to movements. You will never find another watch with an Eta which is modified and improved as in an Omega. Bell & Ross just engraves their name on the rotor and case the movement in the watch. You will hardly find a watch better priced and offering more qualities than the coaxial.
