Re: Omega STILL on the Moon??
In Response To: Re: Omega STILL on the Moon?? ()

Astronaut: "Omega service? I just got my watch back after having the crystal replaced. Well, it's not the same watch!"

Omega CH: "If you'll notice in the warranty, we reserve the right to either repair or replace a watch sent to us. In the case of replacement, we send one of equal or greater value."

Astronaut: "Well, I appreciate your eagerness to give me a new watch, but was it really impossible to repair my original?"

Omega CH: "It seemed a more cost effective decision at the time. We felt it better you have a brand new watch for your next mission to the moon."

Astronaut: "But I'm not going to the moon again!"

Omega CH: "Then you can be assured your crystal should not pop off again. Goodbye and good luck."

And now, sitting in the foyer of the Swatch Group headquarters in Switzerland is an Omega prominently displayed and entitled "To the moon and back!"
